For its second performance the remarkable artistic and stylistic ranges of the Philadelphia Wind Symphony take us on a musical journey “Over the Hills and Far Away” with works by Verdi, Giannini, Sparke, Grainger, and Dello Joio.

The Philadelphia Wind Symphony is an ensemble of volunteer musicians from the local area who are dedicated to bringing the best literature and performances of the band and wind ensemble tradition to Center City Philadelphia.
