Voice of America features Aitak Ajangzad

| April 1, 2013

A recent Voice of America report features Arts and Humanities EdD student Aitak Ajangzad in a recent Persian Norouz (New Year) celebration at the Pardis School for Children.

Aitak started the music program at this school two years ago, which also initiated the first early childhood music program designed and developed for bilingual Iranian American children of New York City.  The Norouz event celebrates the start of the spring equinox, and the beginning of the Persian new year, with creative story telling, puppet play, singing, dancing and interactive activities with traditional Persian instruments.
