Two TC students covering Music Ed Week, sponsored by SoundTree

| June 22, 2010

Two pre-service Teachers College music and music education students, Brigid Moran and Justine Dolorfino, will be live-blogging and recapping sessions from MENC’s Music Education Week in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area from June 25-29. Thanks to the generosity of SoundTree and Teachers College’s own Dr. James Frankel, we, along with Andy Zweibel and Andrew Ritenour from MusicEdMajor.net, will be able to provide consistent and comprehensive coverage of the academies we will be attending over the upcoming weekend.

Our Live-Blog Team
SoundTree (@SoundTree)/Dr. James Frankel (@jimfrankel), provider of a wireless broadband card that will enable us to go where no other conference attendee will go in the WiFi-free conference rooms: online! SoundTree will also be hosting our coverage online. You can find the live-blog here… stay tuned on Friday, June 25, for a redirection to the official SoundTree interface.
Justine Dolorfino (@justine_robin), pre-service masters candidate at Teachers College (@TCmusicED) and current online coordinator of the Music & Music Education online social media interface. Justine will be attending the Collegiate MENC Leadership Academy, the Jazz Academy, and the US Navy Jazz Concert on Monday evening.
Brigid Moran (@Brigidm86), pre-service masters candidate at Teachers College. Brigid will also be attending the Collegiate MENC Leadership Academy as well as the Choral Academy.
Andy Zweibel (@Zweibz7), founder and editor-in-chief of MusicEdMajor.net. Andy will also be attending the Collegiate MENC Leadership Academy.
Andrew Ritenour (@andrewritenour), co-editor of MusicEdMajor.net. Andrew will (shockingly) also be attending the Collegiate MENC Leadership Academy and the DCI event Saturday evening.
