NYC Music Teachers needed for research survey

| May 25, 2010

If applicable, please fill out the following survey!

I’m a doctoral student at the University at Buffalo. As part of my dissertation research, I’m doing an online survey of New York State elementary music teachers in the beginning stages of their careers to find out more about how and why they choose teaching approaches (such as Dalcroze) and how they use those approaches in their classrooms. I hope you will be able to help me publicize the survey. Could you pass this information on to the appropriate persons in the Dalcroze TriState chapter?

Here is the link and some information:

Elementary General Music Teachers: Do you have 1-5 years teaching experience? Please help with dissertation research by filling out a 20-minute survey about your curriculum choices.

Please let me know if you need any more information. The survey is online right now and will be available through May 23rd. I’m trying to get as many people to take it as possible and hope to have accurate representation of New York State Dalcroze teachers, so however you can spread the word would be great!

Thanks so much for your help!
