Current TC student Evelyn Troester cordially invites you to their next concert series UBI CARITAS on Sunday, April 10th and Tuesday, April 19th in the gorgeous acoustics of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Manhattan (W. 100th and Amsterdam). Please join us when we finish our inaugural season with this very special program of internationally collected Ubi Caritas et Amor settings, including a world premiere!

In our presently difficult times of massive natural destruction and war, we may find ourselves in a constant inner dialogue questioning our daily routines, discussing the role of faith and re-evaluating the meaning of life. The UBI CARITAS concerts are a musical exploration of these dialectic themes: war and peace – doubt and faith – death and rebirth, and the importance of sharing love and building a community among us.
Join GHOSTLIGHT in closing their inaugural season with an a cappella celebration of choral masterpieces by Schönberg, Mendelssohn, and Barber, and experience a musical journey of love, doubt, and rebirth through rarely heard and well-known settings of the beloved Easter hymn “UBI CARITAS ET AMOR”.

Experience together with GHOSTLIGHT Samuel Barber’s Reincarnations in a new light and indulge in Schoenberg’s epic piece Friede auf Erden (Peace on Earth) during this meaningful Easter season of 2011.
We hope to see you there in April!
Suggested donation $20 (students/seniors $10)
